The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling is an amazing seven part fantasy fiction. It has not been classified as science-fiction as yet. In this post I highlight the many futuristic Sci-fi ideas embedded in the seven series novels. Please comment and let me know of more such ideas for the future that Rowling may have embedded in the novels and we may have missed.

Recently a lot of angst expressed with regard to moonlighting by the corporate giants and the IT sector. Taking a cue from the top academic institutions, that have rules re working for others, corporates could reframe their rules to move with the times.

Hacked! Yes. Someone hacked into my Instagram account. Imagine, have been active on social media at least since 2016 or maybe 2014. I have heard of email accounts being hacked. But yesterday I got the shock of my life when my Instagram account was hacked.
The Far Field by Madhuri Vijay is an intensely told story of various hues of love and bonding against the backdrop of turmoil in Kashmir. I wonder why she called it, The Far Field. The more appropriate title seemed to me The Far Away Mountain! It is a story of betrayals, told splendidly within the chaotic land of Kashmir, swinging between chaos and normalcy.. It is an empathetically woven story of various hues and colours of love.
If you ask me what sort of music I like? I really don’t know. I just seem to follow the tastes of the people closest to me at that point in time. In my school-going days I listened to the radio, mainly Vividh Bharati Service of All India Radio, as my father listed to the news and old Hindi film songs. I reflect on my experience with listening to music and moving on with the changing ways!
Baking and sewing in our new Aashiyana means we are back in business, the business of enjoying ourselves! We picked up on entertaining close friends within a week of arrival at our Aashiyana, that's fast you would think!
